The Houston Ballet will return to its home, the Wortham Theater Center, for its just-announced 2018/19 Season, a superb collection of World Premieres, Houston Ballet Premieres, and beloved classics.

The season will begin with Houston Ballet Artistic Director Stanton M. Welch’s fantastic production of The Nutcracker. The early spring will bring an exciting season highlight—a World Premiere by Welch titled Sylvia, a mythological love story which will be co-produced with The Australian Ballet. Other noteworthy features include the return of Ben Stevenson’s treasured family favorite Coppélia, Ronald Hynd’s comical, enchanting ballet The Merry Widow, and Welch’s lavish historical drama, Marie.
