Through January 28, immerse yourself in the splendour of one of the fashion world’s most iconic names at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston’s breathtaking exhibit: The Glamour and Romance of Oscar de la Renta. Curated by contributing editor to Vogue André Leon Talley, the exhibit features nearly 70 de la Renta ensembles, cleverly juxtaposed with pieces from the museum’s collection.

A Dominican-American designer, de la Renta (1932-2014) was renowned for his sweeping, elegant gowns and sought after by famous politicians, actresses, and socialites. The new exhibit glorifies the beauty of his work, paying special attention to some of de la Renta’s greatest influences — Spain, Russia, China, Japan, and the garden.

A much buzzed-about highlight of the exhibition is Amal Clooney’s wedding gown, plus pieces worn by such women as Beyoncé, Penelope Cruz, Laura Bush, and Karlie Kloss.
