Cheerily Chic Aesthetic and Feel Good Vibes at The Classic

in Dining & Nightlife by

The brain behind Benjy’s and Local Foods, Benjy Levit, is at it again with his newest concept, The Classic All Day. Located in the ex-Benjy’s on Washington space in the heart of Memorial Park (between the Heights and River Oaks) it the areas newest and chicest neighborhood spot.

We have heard of farm-to-table but have you heard of roof-to-table? The second floor has been converted into an urban organic garden which will grow vegetables, herbs and more leading up to a beautiful fall harvest.

“We wanted to create a no-rush, no-fuss neighborhood spot that effortlessly pivots from daily coffee mainstay to date night spot. Our goal for The Classic is to deliver elevated-
yet-simple dishes, all of which will be executed exceptionally well” – Benjy Levit

Highlights from the menu include classics like Matzo Ball Soup with pulled chicken and Shaved Brussels Sprouts with watermelon, goat cheese, and walnuts; medium plates reflect Levit’s and Chef Mike Potowski’s Russian roots including Pelmeni – ear-shaped dumplings steeped in tradition and
stuffed with savory fillings – and Salmon Pastrami with cucumber, capers, tomato, and ramen egg toast; and feel good large plates served family-style!

Visit The Classic All Day Mon—Thurs: 10am—9pm, Fri: 10am—10pm, Sat: 8am—10pm and Sun: 8am—9pm.
