Uptown is glitz, it’s glamour, and it’s the Galleria. It’s also home to some of the best dining in the city, and we’re here with the scoop on three not-to-be-missed restaurants that are dishing up special menus for Houston Restaurant Weeks (August 1 – September 4). We love this foodie holiday, because it gives a whole new meaning to dining with care: Each HRW meal benefits the Houston Food Bank. Bon appétit!
McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood and Steaks – Uptown Park
This beloved purveyor of steak and seafood goodness offers both lunch and dinner for HRW. Each three-course menu features a delicious array of choices, from Steak and Lobster (dinner) to the Cedar Plank Roasted Atlantic Salmon (lunch). Chocolate lovers will swoon for the Molten Chocolate Cake, while diners with a taste for vanilla have the Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée to look forward to. Call for reservations, and be sure to let them know that you’d like the HRW menu. To view complete menus, visit the McCormick & Schmick’s HRW listing.
