Father’s Day is around the corner and whether your dad wants to spend the day enjoying the golf course, exploring the city with the family or having a delicious meal, we have you covered on where to celebrate dad!
1. Hotel Derek
Does dad want the spend the day enjoying his favorite things, like bourbon, poker and more? Pico’s will be hosting a Father’s Day brunch from 10 a.m. — 4 p.m. with several highlights including chili-rubbed black Angus prime rib, pork rib carnitas, and seafood paella a la valenciana! Does your dad not only love Mexican food but dessert? They will have a 30-foot long dessert bar to satisfy that sweet tooth!
Looking to get out and be a tourist in your own city? The MFAH will be offering free admission to all fathers and grandfathers! We also recommend walking across the street after your visit and exploring the new Glassell School pavilion.
4. Steak 48
The Galleria area steakhouse will be offering a special Father’s Day brunch, kicking off at 11 a.m. The menu includes bone-in filet mignon + fried egg (12oz), Shetland island salmon, Maryland style lump crab cakes, and more. If you are looking to plan brunch but haven’t picked out a gift, take dad shopping around River Oaks District after!
5. BCK Kitchen
BCK will be serving a Father’s Day brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The menu will feature “Chops ‘N Hops” for Dad which includes a pork chop with mashed potatoes, two sunny-side-up eggs, and Salisbury gravy, served with a beer for $12.
6. The Grove
The Grove is kicking off their ‘Brunch on the Green’ Sunday only buffet series! The buffet goes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes all of your favorites; an omelet station, towering displays of freshly baked pastries and mimosas, mojitos, red and white sangria, and margaritas for $15 with one cent refills.
