The Southern Smoke Foundation was originally founded to raise money for MS; after co-founder Chris Shepard learned of his good friend and former sommelier Antonio Gianola was diagnosed. Since 2015 they have raised $454,000 for the MS Society and added a second cause to their focal point- people in the food and beverage industry affected by Hurricane Harvey. This years event will continue to support both causes.
