Berg Hospitality Group, owned by restaurateur Benjamin Berg, has a true passion for the hospitality industry. Berg has created a number of acclaimed restaurants such as B&B Butchers, B.B. Lemon, and B.B. Pizza all known for superior service, unique atmospheres, and delicious food. The group’s newest concept, The Annie Café and Bar, opened this fall on 6 BLVD Place in the Galleria Area.
The Annie Café and Bar channels its Texas roots through delectable American cuisine revamped to mirror its place of origin. Award-winning Executive Chef Robert Del Grande has expertly curated a unique menu with a fresh twist on Texas-inspired American food with a focus on elegant presentation style. Highlights include, The Steak Sandwich (shown above, open-faced with creamy black beans, avocado & drunken chili sauce), Lumache (shrimp sausage, broccoli rabe & tomato fennel butter), Dinner Bell Chicken (sweet potato, cornbread dressing, green bean salad & TX beer jus) and so much more!
Café Annie’s beverage director, Kara Slife, has imagined an impressive cocktail menu utilizing high end spirits to construct traditional as well as unique drinks exclusive to the restaurant. Acclaimed Sommelier Bridget Paliwoda brings her expertise to curate a remarkable wine list with an international approach that will pair perfectly with your choice in entrée.
The restaurant’s vibrant and sophisticated atmosphere was designed by local architect Issac Preminger to include both urban and industrial elements. The space features exposed whitewash brick walls, beautiful floor to ceiling windows, and palm trees scattered throughout to match the coastal-themed decor that reflects a bright and casual atmosphere and feels like a breath of fresh air.
