Berg Hospitality Steps Up to the Plate for Astros Opening Day

Friday, April 5th is the Houston Astros opening day at Minute Maid Park! In celebration, Berg Hospitality Group, B&B Butchers and BB Lemon, is celebrating with knockout hot dog specials as well as transportation to and from the game. 

Break the Bank Frank

Enjoy one of four speciality hot dogs for either lunch or dinner before the game or a late night snack after at B&B Butchers. The hot dog round up includes:

The Ballpark Classic ($14) 2 Texas wagyu hot dogs with a side of ketchup, mustard, relish and sauerkraut.

Chef Tommy’s Dog ($26) Texas wagyu hot dog with thick cut applewood smoked bacon, blue cheese crust, topped with caramelized onions and house-made truffle-infused honey.

The Carpetbagger Coney ($29) Texas wagyu hot dog topped with Cajun fried oysters, applewood smoked thick cut bacon, crumbled blue cheese and house-made blue cheese dressing and hot sauce.

Break the Bank Frank ($124) Texas wagyu hot dog on a truffle butter toasted bun and topped with 2oz of A5 Japanese wagyu filet, sautéed main lobster in a truffle mustard beurre blanc and finished with 24k gold edible flakes.

The Ballpark Classic

If there is a time and a place to indulge in an over $100 hot dog, B&B Butchers on opening day is it. Across the street at BB Lemon there will be an outdoor pregame celebration with lawn games and music. Executive Chef Emily Trusler will be grilling up hot dogs for their special that includes 2 TX wagyu hot dogs or 1 TX wagyu hamburger or cheeseburger and 2 beers for $19.95.

The complimentary shuttle will be offered to and from the game which begins at 7:10 pm. Call 713.862.1814 to make your dining and shuttle reservations. B&B Butchers is open Fridays 11 am – 1am and BB Lemon is open 11 am – 2 am.
