The city got its first taste of the world known Nobu this past summer. The Japanese restaurant, founded by Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro, and Meir Teper, has 40 locations across the globe. Most recently they launched lunch service, with a menu created just for Houston. It is full of items, both light and heavier, all designed for midday enjoyment.
Highlights from the menu include the Nobu Caesar Salad (Jidori Chicken Umami and Strube Ranch Wagyu Flat Iron with Wasabi Pepper Sauce), mouthwatering Takumi Sliders, Tai Agave and classic sushi lunch sets like Chef’s Choice Nigiri and Bento Box options.
The second-floor patio is the perfect place to enjoy a long lunch on a nice cool [for Houston] day. Nobu’s lunch service is offered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm.
HHM Insider Tip: It may seem odd to order lemonade at a Japanese restaurant, but the Meyer Lemonade is delicious and perfect for a warm day. No sour faces here, it’s hands down the best lemonade we’ve ever had!
