[French] Spring Blooms at La Table’s Marché

in Dining & Nightlife by

French restaurant, La Table, opened in the Galleria area in 2016 and continues to bring fresh and luxurious items to both their menu and space. The two-story restaurant has two unique concepts. Upstairs you will find Château, a fine dining restaurant with tableside service. Downstairs is its chicly casual little sister, Marché, a French bistro with a wrap-around bar and outdoor patio. Both are decorated impeccably with coffee table books, a refined pastry bar, and a soft blue and white marble color pallet. Most recently La Table launched a new Sunday punch brunch and pre-fixe lunch menu, at Marché.

Punch Brunch is available every Sunday and is centered around the $45 seasonal spiked punch. The two punch options include Sparkling White Tropical Punch (rum, orange juice, pineapple juice, champagne, and rosemary simple syrup) and a Green Tea Punch (rum, green tea, tint tea, lime juice, and simple syrup). They are served in glass punch bowls and serve between 2-5 people.

Marché’s patio is the perfect location to enjoy the warmer weather with its vast patio and live music. Brunch specials will rotate weekly alongside the full Marché a la carte menu.

The prix fixe menu makes you feel as though you’ve been transported to a small French village. Leaving all your ordering concerns behind you the menu is full of items made with passion and seasonal ingredients. Appetizers include Roasted Beet Tartare (goat cheese and hazelnuts on a bed of frisée salad) and a Petite Caesar Salad with spicy croutons.

The four entree options range from light to appropriately hardy. Two of our favorites are the Chicken Salad Tartine, (white bean hummus, pomegranate, and arugula on country bread) and the Spaghetti àlla Provençale (tomato, capers, olives, zucchini, asparagus, and parmesan).

Between the menu and the idyllic French atmosphere, this is the perfect setting for a long lunch any day of the week.

Enjoy the prix fixe lunch menu ($28) Monday through Friday from 11 am to 3 pm and punch brunch every Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm.
