B.B. Lemon is the newest eatery addition to the popular Washington Ave. Opened by the team behind one of our favorite steak houses, B&B Butchers, Berg Hospitality. Owner Benjamin Berg combined everything he loves about both New York and Houston into one culinary vision. The elevated eatery makes you feel as though you have walked into the big apple but with Texas hospitality.
This is a place where I’d want to go and hang out
Benjamin Berg, founder of Berg Hospitality
His main goal was to create a unique experience for his guests which was accomplished through comfort food and multiple dining options. Upon entering you will be taken with the playful plaid wallpaper, green and white checkered tablecloths and plush banquettes. Complimenting the 22 seat brass bar is an outdoor contemporary patio perfect for the warmer weather rolling in.
Sounds like a place you could feel comfortable indulging in shepherds pie, burgers that hold court to B&B Butchers burger, mouthwatering grilled cheese made with goat cheese and bacon, banana pudding and Root beer floats, all night? Well good because they are open until 2 am on Friday and Saturday!
Lemon Hour occurs Monday through Friday, 3-6pm and includes $8 craft cocktails, $4 beers, $2 off wine by the glass, Frito pie, pistachio crusted fried shrimp and many more delicious bites. B.B. Lemon also has a special late-night menu and industry nights on Monday. From 8:30 pm to close you can enjoy a $6 burger and ½ off all beers, ½ off Jameson, Benjamin Berg’s personal drink of choice!
Alongside the impressive wine and beer list are an array of unique cocktails. All the King’s Soldiers made with Bourbon, Turbinado, Lemon, Egg White, Red Wine, and Earnest Desire made Rum, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, Lime, Grapefruit are two of our favorites!
B.B. Lemon is open Sunday 11am–10pm, Monday-Wednesday 11am–12am and Thursday-Saturday 11am–2am and for Lemon Hour, Monday – Friday 3-pm.
