Who doesn’t love a delicious warm breakfast sandwich? Cue EggHaus Gourmet! Started by the co-founder (Phillip Sitter) of the Austrian-German concepts King’s Biergarten and King’s BierHaus, hence the name, EggHaus is changing the breakfast game for the greater East TC Jester Neighborhood.

After two and half years of sell-out evenings of made-from-scratch kolache pop-ups at King’s Biergarten in Pearland and BierHaus in the Heights, Sitter knew it was time. The menu includes the popular kolaches such as the Reuben with corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss, and homemade thousand island, the Drunken Chicken with shredded chicken simmered in Stiegl lager bier, sautéed with peppers and onions and buffalo sauce and a few more you may familiar with!

The giant egg sandwiches are what initially caught our attention! Our two favorites are the Hangover Sandwich with shredded chicken simmered in Stiegl lager bier and lettuce, tomato, cage free egg, queso fresco, cilantro and avocado ranch and The Scramble loaded with cage-free soft-scrambled eggs, green onions, cheddar and homemade chipotle aioli both served on a warm butter flake bun. Served in an easy-to-eat holder, making any messes minimal.

Pro Tip: Add smoked bacon and avocado to The Scramble for a heartier option.

It wouldn’t be a Houston breakfast establishment without breakfast tacos and EggHaus has reimagined those as well. The Cerveza is loaded with ground chuck simmered in Warsteiner pilsner, egg, grilled onions, bell peppers, and house aioli, and the El Jefe is filled with barbacoa, onions, cilantro, and grilled jalapeno.

It’s not just the food that’s oh-so-Insta-worthy! The interiors of EggHaus are bright, welcoming and ready for their close up. With floral graphic wallpaper, neon signage, yellow sconces, and greenery everywhere you turn, it is the perfect cheerful environment that will guarantee likes.

Visit EggHaus Gourmet Monday – Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday – Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
