The newest restaurant and bar to hit the River Oaks District is Bisou, French for kiss! Started by the restaurant group, Clé Group, who started the ever-popular nightclub Clé, in downtown Houston. Partner Andrew Estes believes “…Bisou will be an excellent addition to the mix and only add to ROD’s (River Oaks District) allure as the most sought-after mixed-use destination in the city.”
The Cle Group is no stranger to unique projects like Bisou. This team of creative minds has been working together since 2014 in bringing Houston popular venues that burst with energy, music, and delicious food and drinks. For a new and exciting concept like Bisou, it’s fitting to have it situated in one of Houston’s most lively destinations.
Bisou boasts a variety of elements to make your experience an enriched and memorable one. Visitors can enjoy an energetic environment with a live DJ for a late night dinner and/or “Sunday Funday” brunch. The menu is equally as attractive. Created by Master Chef of France Frédéric Perrier, Bisou presents a diverse menu of internationally and French-inspired dishes. Chef Perrier, who has worked all over the world including New York City’s La Cité and as Private Chef for the French Ambassador to the United Nations, is the perfect man for Bisou. He serves the “wow factor” in his creative creations, such as brunch’s Soft Scrambled Eggs and Caviar, Foie Gras and more all with a side of bottles of champagne delivered to you with sparklers! For dinner, Perrier has invented delicious twists on classic French-inspired dishes, like the arancini-wrapped escargot in spicy butter sauce or cylinder- shaped crispy crabmeat mac & cheese. Visitors will surely get a taste of perfection in the incredibly lush, glamorous and contemporary setting.
With modern art covering the walls, plush velvet grey chairs and gold flatware, the space itself will make you want to continue your evening there all night long. The cocktail list is just as inspired with the Marilyn Monroe, Grey Goose Vodka, St.Germain, Lemon and Peychaud’s Bitters, Everyone Loves A Ginger with Belvedere Ginger, Lime Juice and Chandon Brut. Looking to share? Bisou has two cocktails that serve 4+, Just A Kiss with Vodka and Grapefruit and the Mint To Be Melon which includes vodka, mint, and watermelon. Thinking you could enjoy these drinks all night long? Thankfully you can because Bisou is open on Friday and Saturday until 12 am!
Bisou is designed to offer a quality experience, no matter the time. Whether it’s day or night, Bisou’s extensive menu and vibrant environment make for the perfect brunch, lunch, dinner, or night out!
