The husband and wife duo, Addie and Dustin Teague, behind Relish Restaurant & Bar in River Oaks are at it again with new dinner and dessert items! We have talked about Relish’s updated Happy Hour but dinner at the chic and welcoming space make for a romantic evening.
Who doesn’t love dessert? Well, maybe some people but this dessert menu has a little something for everyone. The blueberry hand pies come with 3 petite pies that melt in your mouth and are made with blueberry filling, lemon curd, and candied lemon. If you are a peanut butter lover you will not want to skip the nutty-butter icebox pie made up of peanut butter mousse, chocolate cookie-pecan crust, caramel, hazelnuts, ganache, whipped mascarpone cream, strawberries, and an unexpected but delicious curry meringue. It’s to die for!
When dessert is this good we had to talk about it first, but that doesn’t say anything about the incredible dinner menu! Fall highlights from the scrumptious menu include pan-seared diver scallops served over a flavorful cauliflower puree with crispy prosciutto san daniele, watercress, red wine bordelaise, crunchy breadcrumbs. The Italian ragu with cavatelli, lamb, pork and beef ragu, tomato, and Parmigiano Reggiano, will have you wondering why you ever ate a pasta substitute.
Relish is open for Monday – Thursday 7 a.m. – 9 p.m., Friday 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
