Indulge in Your Cravings at Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café

After local Houstonian, Allison met her future husband and moved back to Houston post-college, her fiancé, Ivan was on the hunt to find a crepe that reminded him of his time abroad in Paris. Fast-forward to 2012 and the couple, at the ripe age of 25, opened the first Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café in the Rice Village shopping area. It wasn’t long after that the delicious crepes and ever-expanding menu won over the hearts and stomachs of many.

With six locations in Houston (Rice Village, Highland Village, Katy, The Woodlands, College Station and City Centre), Sweet Paris is bringing their modern take on a Parisian cafe to the entire city. The newest location is in the iconic Highland Village shopping center.

We believe it is the perfect place to introduce a Sweet Paris
flagship store that will cater to the sophisticated shoppers of Houston’s most iconic shopping destination.

Allison Chavez,  Co-Founder

Each location is filled to the brim with European accents that complement the menu perfectly. The flagship location was designed by the Rockwell Group and continues the Sweet Paris aesthetic with an elevated twist. Decorated with the brand’s signature blue, white marble, bronze accents, plush booths and a vast outdoor terrace, each location is an oasis of it’s own.

Beyond impeccable interiors, the menu is packed with instagram ready delicousness. Upon entering, you are greeted with an extended crepe counter where you can pick from one of twenty five sweet and savory crepes!

With a list that big the team is able to have fun creating unique crepes to go along side the classics. A few of the highlights are: Allison’s Parfait (vanilla low fat yogurt, bananas, strawberries, granola, toasted almonds, & a drizzle of honey), Chicken Enchilada (grilled chicken, refried beans, topped with crema, queso fresco, cilantro, & chipotle sauce), Apple Cinnamon Creme Brulee (torched vanilla cream with caramelized apples, dulce de leche, & cinnamon). All crepes are able to be made with vegan, gluten & dairy free batter.

Outside of the extensive crepe options, the waffles and milkshakes will make you re-think any healthy eating guidelines!

HHM Tip: Order the Reese’s milkshake – you will ask yourself just how many Reese’s were used to make it, in the best way possible!

The menu expands beyond items that indulge your sweet tooth including salads like the Salade De Chevre (spring mix, goat cheese, walnuts, almonds, cherry tomatoes, dried cranberries, parmesan crisps, & dijon vinaigrette), paninis such as the Jambon Fromage Panini (black forest ham, gruyère cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, & chipotle béchamel spread) and more that fulfill all hunger levels.

The Chavezes have made it their mission to not only deliver French level crepes, but give back to the community. On the menu you will find a handful of items with the Houston Food Bank logo next to it and each time one of these crepes are ordered, Sweet Paris donates a meal to local charities.

Each location is open Sunday – Thursday from 8am – 9pm and Friday – Saturday from 8am – 11pm. Explore their locations and more of the menu on their website.
