With 2018 about to come to a close we are going back into the archives to share with you the top restaurants that opened this year! Whether you are in town visiting family or need a refresher this list will keep you full until 2019 comes!
1. BCK: Kitchen & Cocktail Adventures
BCK opened in February right in the heart of the Heights as a go-to neighborhood spot. The menu revolves around the chef’s childhood favorites, tuna melts on thick Texas toast, burgers and a corn dip that will keep you coming back. Their hours are Monday – Thursday 11am – 11pm, Friday 11am – 12am, Saturday: 10am – 3pm (Brunch Only) – 4pm – 12am and Sunday 10am – 3pm (Brunch Only) – 4pm – 9pm.

2. Vibrant
Vibrant opened its doors in Montrose not too long ago and has Houstonians raving about it’s, new to Houston, menu concept. Everything at Vibrant is dairy free, refined sugar-free, gluten-free and delicious. It is the perfect place to hit the refresh button after an indulgent holiday! Open every day, breakfast is served 7am – 4pm, lunch 11am – 4pm, dinner 5pm – 10pm and happy hour 5-6 in the bar.

3. The Classic All Day
The masterminds behind Benjy’s brought the greater Washington area The Classic All Day this past August. The menu and interiors are just as the name describes, classic…with a hint of retro. Menu items include matza ball soup, pork chops, steak and eggs and more! Their hours are Monday—Thursday 10am—9pm, Friday 10am—10pm, Saturday 8am—10pm and Sunday 8am—9pm.

4. Bisou
Bisou is the newest restaurant in the River Oaks District and the place to be social. Bottles arrive with sparklers and a French-inspired menu that will have you feeling indulgent in the best way possible. Their hours are Monday – Tuesday 11am – 10pm, Wednesday -Friday 11am-12am, Saturday 10am-12am and Sunday 10am-5pm. Saturday brunch is from 10am – 3pm and on Sundays 10am – 12pm.

8. Bloom & Bee
It is always cheery and bright at Bloom & Bee even if it isn’t so outside. The modern feminine oasis located in the grand Post Oak Hotel. The menu is locally inspired, with fresh healthy items but inclusive to all hunger levels! Everything on the menu (breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner) is bound to make you want to convince your table to order one too many items and share. Their hours are Monday – Friday 6:30am – 10:30pm, Saturday 7am – 10:30pm and Sunday 7am – 10pm.
