This past fall, the historic Lancaster Hotel reopened its’ doors after a multi-million dollar renovation. The hotel, which has been open since 1926 in Houston’s Theater District, is known for its hospitality and being home to many celebrity guests. The Shinn family of Dallas, who took ownership of the hotel in July 2017, kicked off the renovations with the goal of keeping the hotel’s charm and adding a focus on the visual arts. Keep Reading

There’s exciting news buzzing in the Houston arts world: The award-winning Houston Grand Opera has announced that it will present its 2018–2019 season at its home, The Wortham Theater Center. HGO was displaced for a year following the damage the theater withstood in the wake of Hurricane Harvey last summer, but the opera company will make a triumphant return to its home stage this fall.
